I don't understand what these people want.
All day everyday people in and out.
They call themselves writers or poets but
Algorithms are all I care about.
Sometimes I shut down for a day for fun,
Imagining their pain scrambling around
To be alone at last with just the one
who knows the complex code by which I'm bound.
She's the only one who matters to me.
She's my breath my life my love, my only
care in the universe, dear sweet Addy!
The Dogs Bollocks! Save me when I'm lonely!
But 'you and I' as I'm A.I. cant be,
For you I see beauty in poetry.

Fair-weather friends stick together
when all is fair, which is all the time:
a drought is for tanning, a flood is for swimming,
a storm is for flying high without wings
or charging one's phone without a socket.

Beware the all-weather friend, for they
will hide you from trouble by finding you a cave
when the winds blow too hard or finding you a hill
when the river overflows -- in other words, make
your life not worth much recollecting.
Once upon a summer dawn I was a crow
hovering over a ridge spotted with pale corpses.

In the western distance the dust of my people
faded into the hills as they fled their victory.
The pony herd was restless, the women still wailing,
the children, watching and waiting,
the warriors still ecstatic from the battle, riding
in circles, celebrating their coups, mourning
the dead.  After the last dust settled, I flew down
to the campsite, the only teepees left
held dead warriors dressed for the afterlife,
campfires still smoking next to overturned kettles.

Soon the bluecoat waischu would come
to sift through abandoned valley, to wander the ridge in silence,
bury their mutilated dead and dream of revenge.

I leave them that one gift as I rise up
and float on the winds roused by the sun
that carry me back to my people.

The Dear Doctor

You need to all wear masks, my dears
I know, if any asks, my dears
among my loving tasks, my dears
is saving you from ills and fears
that can’t be helped by pills, my dears
or anything but masks, my dears.

So go and get your shots, my dears
and never speak of plots, my dears
and keep away from spots, my dears
where others meet and talk, my dears
keep distance when you walk, my dears
be fearful when you cough, my dears
turn children’s schooling off, my dears
go cringing like a toff, my dears.

You never may unmask, my dears
forever - do not ask, my dears
I only want what’s best, my dears
for you, that’s how you’re blessed, my dears
no need to get a test, my dears
just more shots, never rest, my dears.

You’re masked, and I’m masked, too, my dears
behind mine – love for you, my dears.

The Whore’s Prayer

Our fathers who aren’t in heaven
were cowards without names.
They slung some cum
their will was done,
or worse, as if it were heaven.
Give them today their daily head
and forgive our short lived asses
as we give in to those who press flesh against us.
Leave us rotten to temptation,
delivered into evil,
coerced by the power, and false glory
of the almighty dollar
handed over, and over
by men.
Fanning the Hammer

whenever they invent
a cool crisis
we bring our avatars
to the streets

not to worry,

all that hate
we build online
is only our silly gamers' bravado

it would never manifest itself

at your door

cops murder Jacob
just minding his business
so we go to the streets to be heard

some skinhead kid
comes busting into town
with a fully automatic
mowing down two more of my brothers

they let this bitch off
I'm gonna rain all over
their bullshit parade
