Well that’s what I got. I think you will probably reject this suggestion as it makes to much sense.

P.S. While sense is over-rated, this suggestion makes enough of it to compensate.
I especially like the buy-in aspect.

Ok I didn't read all of this, but my 2 cents-- there was no Newly Registered when I joined, and I liked the feeling of getting dumped into the deep end from the start. I think it may give vanity posters pause, and if it makes the mods' jobs easier, then yay. (We love you mods... we just have funky ways of showing it!)

thanks for all the replies. would still love some from some of the newbs who despite how they may feel, are also entitled to their say for that reason we'll leave it open a couple days more.

we're in the throes of changing things over. the newly registered forum is now defunct. and newly registered members can will only be able to post in novice, though their posts will be moderated. if they put up a reasonable piece of feedback they will be able to post a poem. when they can have site wide access will depend on their feedback. for some it may be one piece of feedback before they come off moderated posts. for others 5 pieces. some may be eradicated from the site.
we already had a newb posting in serious without giving feedback. they are now on moderated posts and they poem was moved to novice. while we're changing over some posts will slip through the net. but we will do our best to keep on top of it. thanks for understand and sorry for the disruption.
