5th Annual Poems About Suicide Month
#22
There's a part of me
that you'l never see.
A part of my mind
Hid from all mankind
A place to put my dirt
the times I get hurt,
memories of a wasted youth.
Words that sooth
could not make right
that night
I sat against a tree
wanting to flee
my living hell,
something to sell
my soul came to mind
looking behind
at a life wasted
I can almost taste it.
freedom from me
I open my eyes to see
for the last time
my life is a crime
Never solved...
