Philosophy Podcast

I listen to the gentle murmuration of men’s voices
Speaking learned words
Calm words
Kind words
Words my father never spoke
Their mumuration soothes me to sleep
Guards my dreams
I am a boy, they are my trusted guides
Forward to peace, to justice
How I love their calm words

I really like the message of this poem. I feel there are some word choices that are very obvious and would love to see this with more story telling or some metaphors, something to really put the reader in the poem. The flow suits the message very well.
