malcom maclaren manager of the sex pistols and punk icon
died very recently. yesterday in fact. whatever happened to the punk rock bands. did any of them stay the course.?

i remember the clash, the pistols etc, who can forget sid snots my way, yet i have forgotten it.
what just happened here was like me asking where have all the bands like the beatles and the stones gone
and you two showing me westlife or some other boy band.

i can'#t think off hand of a single punk group worthy of world acclaim.
it just seems such a short lived era in the annals of pop.
i would say the sex pistols had world"acclaim"
and where are they now?

had
had?
dead
right and we have no really world class punk bands,

jagger, macartney and co lasted a life time, even ozzy osbourne lasted
Billy did ya ever listen to rancid they are very good...........punk meets rock meets ska meets pop.. a very popular band..i think you may be lookin for Oi music which came out in the 70's an early eighties

How about Ian Drury and the blockheads?
Who made the very funny "Hit Me with Your Rhythm Stick".
One of my favorites when I'm whipping some masochist!
