Due to a growing amount of slipshod feedback or critique in the intensive forum, members will now need a password in order to gain access. Members found sharing the password will be banned as will the recipient. Quixie will be your main source of password supply via our pm system but if she isn't available ask any other moderator. I am only on line for short periods so please don,t pm me for it.
There should be a way to read poems in intensive still, with a lock on just feedback. I was trying to read a poem in there and now cant.
In an ideal world yes but and this is a big but, it,s not fair on people who give in depth feedback there to receive a crap piece of one or two line feedback in return, if you give reasonable feedback elsewhere you can still ask for the password. Ideally only those who give feedback in there should be able to post in there

I would mildly agree with @Weeded, supra, that ideally the access to Intensive should be read-only without password, read-write with password. This is not so much to prevent Intensive from becoming a private tea party as to allow/encourage less experienced critics to learn how good Intensive is done; that applies, particularly, to some fine older examples.
Just saying. (And it's *not* because I count reads on my own stuff as some kind of merit points. Of course not.)
I agree with Weeded and dukealien. I think members should at least be allowed to read poems/critiques there, just not allowed to comment or critique w/o password so they could at least be aware of the standard they are being held to to comment in the intensive forum. I don't see the harm in it.
I agree but sadly it can,t be done we can either password it or not password it. In an ideal world people won,t give shite short one liners in there but the world as everyone knows isn't,t ideal. If someone wants to read and not give feedback we will consider it if they promise not post there.
