When I'm not writing, I like playing with electronics and 3D printers... So, I've made a fallout lamp.

I programmed 10 different programs, I scrolled through them in the video.

just mercedes

Wow! I wish I could see more details, of the changing patterns - not even sure what I saw!
iphone doesn't really take great pics of lighting, but it's just ten different lighting patterns..
Nice lamp! Quick note: the background sound of the video reminded me of the film Eraserhead. I'm not sure if that's intentional...
3d printer printing.... that's the sound..
very neat, I was sort of scared to keep looking at the bright flashing one. Smile
Tf im barely seeing this...... Awesome.
I don't have a 3D printer for such things, but tinkering with electronics has been a hobby of mine for a while, and severely influenced my educational path. What controller did you use? And did you make the LED matrix yourself or purchase one?
I used a Arduino mini and fastLed library...

I used ws2801 strips and cut them to length and soldered them...

I'm actually working on a much larger project using over 100m of ws2801 strips..

Once it's done I'll show it off Smile
I used a small strip of WS2801 in high school for my robotics team, but never finished that project. I've got quite a few Arduino boards doing some work for me. One operates as a tiny LAN server and switchboard for automating certain tasks on my computer, and also features an ambient air temperature display for fun. Good to see some DIY on here.
